The riders were in Long Lane Park, Oxford at about 7.30pm this evening, and “made off from officers” when police arrived to break up the gathering.

In doing so, they left behind helmets, a stereo speaker, some cash, a rucksack, and some cannabis.

Thames Valley Police for Oxford issued a statement inviting the moped riders to collect their belongings and “have a chat” with police while they were there.
